Aesthetic fillings

The most common type of filling is made from a composite (white) material. These tooth-coloured restorations are virtually invisible and look like part of your natural teeth. With the newest materials and science, technology allows the skilled dentist to bond the composite material to your own tooth making the tooth even stronger.

Many of our patients are now choosing to have their Amalgam (silver) fillings replaced with the tooth coloured composite material to achieve a more natural appearance.

Inlays, onlays

Inlays or onlays are fillings that are manufactured in a lab and fit into or on the tooth. These are generally recommended when there is too little tooth structure to support a simple filling, but enough tooth to avoid placing a crown. They provide a natural tooth colour and translucency.

I have struggled with dentists for a while but I can honestly say Dr.Tamaz is exceptional and puts you at ease as well. During procedures he talks you through each step and makes sure you know the direction he is going. On top of this is is priced very well and his assistant always makes sure to follow up with appointments. Overall I went for 6-7 visits, root canals and removal of old fillings that had cracked. Exceptional and highly recommend. They also got to know you as a patient.
